8th Wonder Orange Smoked Salmon

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 oz. Salmon Filet

  • 1/2 cup plus 2 T Orange juice

  • 1T. 8th Wonder Spice Blend

  • 2T. Olive oil

  • 1T. Butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  2. Place the salmon in a shallow bowl with 1/2 cup orange juice and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes.

  3. Remove salmon from orange juice, and pat it dry with a paper towel, then lay them on a plate. Discard the orange juice that the salmon was soaking in.

  4. Season both sides of the salmon filets with 8th Wonder Spice Blend and set aside.

  5. Pour the olive oil into a sauté pan and slowly heat the pan until it is very hot but not smoking.

  6. Carefully place the salmon filets into the hot pan and cook on medium high for approximately 3 minutes.

  7. Flip the filets and continue cooking them for about one minute.

  8. Add remaining 2T orange juice and 1T butter to pan, swirl pan around as butter melts and orange juice reduces for another 2 to 3 minutes.

  9. Remove the salmon filets from the pan and serve immediately, garnished with a slice of fresh orange.
